"The OEM speedometer must be recalibrated for the 180 scale. This can be done by any reputable speedometer shop - or if you're handy, you can adjust the potentiometer yourself and dial it in by trial and error using another car to pace with. Important Note: The only cars with speedometers that can be calibrated are 1990 and early 1991. You can tell by removing the speedometer (easy) and checking for a potentiometer on the rear. The early speedometers are compatible with the later cars, so if you have a newer ZX, all you would need is a speedo from an early built salvaged donor. " So I believe the seller is saying that 92+ speedos can not be recalibrated to work with this, if you figure out, post a response, I wouldn't mind having one of these.
